Well, has been talking to me about commissions, and now I'm really excited about it 8D. I'm usually a really bad procrastinator when it comes to...everything, but it's very easy to motivate me as long as it has to do with someone / something else. I mean, look at how quickly I got to work on my entry for JB's contest! And that's just for clay. Think how fast I'll go for money xD. So if anyone is interested, I am now taking polymer clay sculpture commissions. Prices are kind of iffy right now, as I'm new at this, and everything takes a different amount of material and effort, but here's what I've come up with so far:

- $5-15 "teeny": Very small; base is around the size of a quarter. Price is based on complexity of design. For egg dragons (small dragons in clay eggshell, as shown in example), usually adds $2-5. (Ex: [link])
- $25-$50 "foot-ish": Usually about a foot long (depending on design). Price based on material costs and complexity of design. For simple textures (as on fish in example - moderately textured body, added to by the paintjob), no extra cost; for complex textures (like individual scales on a dragon), adds around $10-20. (Ex: [link] [link])
- $100+ "giant": 1-1/2 to 2 feet long (depending on design), around a foot tall (also dependent). Price based on material costs and complexity of design. Usually have complex textures (like individual scales, as in example), so cost is included in total price. Warning! These tend to be rather heavy, so shipping will cost more than for the other options. (Ex [to be replaced with picture of final once finished]: [link])

Other things:

- Glass eyes (if you don't request these, the eyes will most likely be painted): These can cost quite a bit, and I have to order them special. But they're shiny *-*. I'd say between $10-20.
- Beads / jewels / gems: Embedded into the body, or something. Dragons with stones studding their backs are very pretty . This cost all depends on what type of stone-thing it is, and how many. So I really can't guess at it until I know what you want. Perhaps $10-20, as well?
- If you have anything specific in mind, tell me, and I'll see if I can get it / do it. New ideas are always fun. (:

I'll have to get to work on making examples for all these things. This requires a trip to the craft store! Now I have a good reason to force my dad to drive me there. Oh goodie .

I'm probably not going to get that many commissions, but hey, it's something to do . And I almost forgot, payment methods! I know that I'm able to take money orders (which are kind of like checks; ask for more info), and I'm setting up a Paypal account right now.
